What moves us.
We support and promote the digital transformation of teaching, learning and testing in Thuringia. We are convinced that we can make a significant contribution through training, advice and support. We use the potential that arises from our network and joint work by creating projects across universities, making results visible and bringing together interested parties from all disciplines.
What we do for it.
We qualify Teachers and students.
We promote Innovation to experiment with new forms of teaching, learning and testing, to further develop media-enriched teaching and to establish sustainable examples of good practice.
We advise Teachers on the didactically appropriate selection, application and implementation of digital tools and scenarios for learning, teaching and assessment.
We share the expertise and experience from all universities. To this end, we provide all interested parties with diverse and open access to our offers and events.
We network us at universities, in Thuringia and throughout Germany. We involve experts from universities, projects and networks in our work.

About the network.
The eTeach network Thuringia covers all ten Thuringian universities. In this network, the contact points are decentralized on site and the specialist units operate centrally in a joint coordination. The strategic management of the network lies with the strategy council and the academic management. Operational management is carried out by the management board.
Contact points: Our eTeach contact points are each located at a university in Thuringia. This makes them easily accessible and well connected. They establish connections between teachers and colleagues from the service areas and form the bridge between their university and the network. The contact points offer advice and support for lecturers, develop offers for all universities and organize events. To find out who works as an eTeach contact point at a Thuringian university, please follow this link >>> the link to the contact points
Specialist departments: Our specialist units are the network nodes for common and cross-university topics. They bring together questions from the universities and work together with the contact points and teaching staff to answer them. The specialist units support working groups and provide impetus for didactic and media technology innovations. They develop and submit offers for all universities, carry out cross-university analyses and organize the qualification program for teachers and students. You can find a quick link to our specialist units at >>> the link to the specialist offices
Strategy Council: The Strategy Council sets the main topics, defines strategic goals and decides on the offers and projects. The members contribute their university-specific interests and combine them into a joint overall program. Their input is used to further develop offers and derive new formats. The Vice Presidents for Studies and Teaching are voting members of the Strategy Council. They elect the academic management of the network from their circle. These functions are currently held by Prof. Dr. Gerd Mannhaupt (University of Erfurt). To contact the Strategy Council, please contact the academic management or the Vice President for Studies and Teaching of the respective Thuringian university.
Management: The management is responsible for network operations, manages the central processes and acts as the interface to the Strategy Council. It ensures a continuous flow of communication between the decision-making and working levels. To this end, it works closely with the academic management and the contact and specialist offices. The management team develops and supports the funding formats and establishes collaborations with other cross-university initiatives. You can contact the management >>> via this link.
