The prompting station: the tool for our prompting workshop
Development of the prompting station
The prompting station was developed with a focus on the needs of students and teachers and was set up and tested for the first time at the eTeach annual conference in November 2023.
Leading questions during the trade fair day included:
- Where is there a need for trial and error?
- Where are there overlaps between the interests of students and teachers?
- What are the challenges and reservations?
- What potential and opportunities are seen?
This resulted in a selection of tools for which licenses were procured. The applications are available to interested parties as part of the Prompting workshops available free of charge.
Rental of the prompting station
The station can be borrowed for events, workshops or presentation rounds.
We support this process with our expertise and human resources.
Please feel free to contact us.
The technical set-up
The prompting station consists of a Laptop and a projectorso that other participants can watch the practical use and the test phase enables an open exchange.
This activates the dialog with each other and creates a more immersive experience through the mutual stimulation of ideas and usage scenarios.
The Minimal technical setup is also intended to simulate everyday use and thus create low-threshold access to the tools.
A big thank you goes to our student assistants for their excellent and hard work: Linus Prokop, Amna Chaudhry, Leila Keivan, Mara Zakharova, Juan Cano, Katakam Ramanamurthy!
