In small and medium-sized groups, a quick form of evaluation can be carried out efficiently using two symbols.

A stone and a light are positioned in the room. Students are given three to five minutes to reflect on the course as it draws to a close. They are asked to identify stumbling blocks and highlights of the course and write them down on moderation cards. In a short assessment, they describe the stumbling blocks and highlights and place them under the appropriate symbol.

Finally, there is a joint discussion of the key points with the teacher and students.
