Course evaluation is a tool for teachers with great potential. In order to fully utilise this, the quality cycle between students and teachers should be closed. This is done, for example, by discussing the evaluation results with the students.
Once the evaluation results have been prepared, they can be presented in an overview suitable for presentation in one of the last courses of the semester. Teachers and students are thus given the opportunity to critically examine the results and discuss their characteristics. In this way, misunderstandings can be cleared up, trends in characteristics can be understood and additional, valuable information can be gained for the further development of the course.
In addition, students get a sense of how the lecturer deals with the data and how their evaluation should be incorporated into (future) course concepts. Discussing the evaluation results together is an important positive reinforcement for students.
